Turn off you In Game Reset settings (IGR) in your evox settings menu.

If it keeps reseting back to the evox dash then you might need to either patch the game or update your bios.

When you boot up your xbox to the evox dash, go into the settings menu, then look in there there are 3 of them.

Guys, im pretty sure asking for software on this forum is forbidden. The software is located in the usual places and thats all i can tell you. Stop asking unless you want to get banned.

hey guys, im having huge problems with The Suffering, it backs up to the hdd fine, but when it tries to play it locks up, i also noticed that everytime it loads it puts a 9 block memory save on the harddrive. i cant even play this game using the original dvd with mods turned off. if anyone has any info please post.

Suffering is badass, but I much prefer the loading times of the HD as opposed to DVD ^^

A filesystem check/absolute path is what's causing the crash.

Try adding the following ACL to your dvd2xbox install and then re-ripping:

    [bold]HR|default.xbe|4641545800000000443A5C|0000000000000000000000
    [/bold]

    This will nullify the check.

if you don't have dvd2xbox, you can manually patch the default.xbe using a hex editor. (check offset &H00291F04)

Hey guys, Well I turned off the IGR and no go. I also did the HEX Editor thing again with no go. Has anyone been able to back up the game to HD and then play it from the HD. Please let me know.

    Thanks

Bump. Many people with the same problem, myself included. All help is appreciated.

Here's the deal. I burned to the hard drive with DVD2XBOX, the latest build, and it never leaves the EvoX screen when booting. IGR is off in all 3 places, and I even found a 30 day trial for a Hex editor, fixed the problem you said to fix above, and nothing has changed. It still freezes. Those of you with a working HD copy, is there anything you can think of? Thanks much in advance.

I dont see how you guys get by using those programs...I use boXplorer It is very versatile and can copy, rename, move, delete, ect...any file on your xbox. It is like windows explorer for your xbox. I just use this and select all the files from the D:\ drive and put them in a folder named "suffering" in F:\games
