Bios reset to original settings,,,,

    My Dell laptop, Inspiron 2200 has started to give error message <recalibrate Battery> I have tried this to no avail. My current bios is v07. On the original bios I had the option to turn off battery check in advanced menu on start up.

    Any help appreciated,,

    Hi, thanks for reply. I have already tried this method to no avail.
    I am currently getting about 90 minutes on battery power. I think this should be more. A worst case is possibly that the battery has a dead cell and would need to be replaced.
