not sure what it's really called but I have been having an issue I reformated my pc realized my c drive was reading as my g drive and my card reader was reading as my c I was hoping to fix the problem and uninstalled my floppy drive in my windows device manager it didn't help so I reformated and installed windows so my hard drive was my c drive. unfortantely I still can't seem to get my card readers to reinstall. I have tried placing a sd card in the reader in hopes it would help but nothing. how can I get it to read that I have the card readers?
When was the last time you did a 'Custom' Windows Update? Try that first. Go to Windows Update and chose 'Custom' and let it do it's thing. It may come up with the drivers you need for your card reader.
