So I'm bored tonight and decided to see what type of crazy shit I could install in my 15" Unibody MBP and got to thinking about switching out the SuperDrive with a Blu-ray player.

I have yet to find something that will simply play nice with my MBP (you know, sell me a drive, I install it, everything is wonderful). I can live without the BD menu support (playback in VLC should be fine) and just needed a player. I found an article about the BDP-2 and thought first, "Great! an external BluRay for my mac!" and then I thought, "It's SATA and cheap. If it's as small as it looks... that should be great for an internal hack."

    But is it small enough?

    Thoughts?
