   I have Archos AV500 (100GB ) and recently all the bottons respond too late ( about 30 minets )

   You need to contact the seller or Archos. Repairing broken mp3 players is beyond even the manufacturer. It is a throw-away! They may give you a new one or sell you a new one cheap for the broken one.
