HI, I have the starview PVR with code on it since 2007, its working fine but doesnt auto update, is it worth putting the latest software on it or not? If so, how do I do it, I have gone trhough this link but the file cant be found for the PVR loader - http://www.4shared.com/dir/3042613/f6e3421c/sharing.html it runs of nthell ireland, all help greatly appreciated.
ye you should defo put on the new firmware much better coz wen the boxs next go down all the fix,s will be 4 the latest firmware,s
Sambara, thats the correct file and you dont need a loader if you connect the box to your computer, then press menu, HDD mode change, your password "0000", and put the file into the firmware folder. Exit out of all that and it will reboot, go to menu, HDD interface, software update from HDD and it will see the new firmware file, select it and it will do the rest.
