My DVD drives will not play a movie, anylonger, since I have installed them in a video capture system. There seems to be an overlay 'conflict' that prevents videos from playing properly on this computer. Is there a way to disable 'hardware overlay' so I can use PowerDVD or Mediamatics to view a DVD movie? Nice computer, too bad it won't play a movie. (Unless I capture from analog)

Try uninstalling PowerDVD and in Device Mgr, uninstalling your DVD Burner and then reinstalling it - It should get you out from under :-)
