MJPEG - I can't convert this format.

Hi..anyone have a camera that saves "mini" movies as a .avi extension ( which is really a MJPEG). I need to find some way to convert this file so I can make a VCD. TMPGenc does not regonize this file as a valid format. Has anyone been able to convert an MJPEG file. I basically want to join all my 30 second clips from my camera and make a VCD. For joining I use a program called "avi joiner" and that part works great. Any help appreciated. Not sure what to do next.

First Make sure you have a Mjpeg codec installed..And in TMPGEnc go to "options" to "Enviromental Settings" to "Vfapi Plugins" and Raise the "Direct Show file Reader" to "2" and now your File should Load into TMPGEnc no problem (Hopefully)...Cheers
