Please help it wont work mmds

    hey lads,
    well i bought a digivox t, a powersupply, co-ax cable and got a second hand chorus aerial...

    went home to set it up saturday all excited...

    stuck up the aerial and pointed it towards the transmitter, ran my cable and set up the box...

    i turn on the box turned on the antenna power, went to manual scan checked all freqs and 0%....

    was pissed for a while change the position of the aerial and still no good...

    read on this forum bout the 8mhz scan did it still no good...

    im bgging for advice and help... i live in a village called moyvane near listowel in kerry... pointing my aerial towards the hills in ballybinnion...

    coaxial -antenna in ,and did u power on downconverter in menu?

    ya did all that and still cant get it going....... puzzled........

    Connect the tv output of the power inserter to your tv and scan for the analogue channels. If you get nothing the aerial is misaligned.

    Check the position of your down converter (check the neighbors) be it horizontal or vertical, when aligning the ariel tighten u bolts in this sequence top left bottom right and alternate till it takes when happy with alignment tighten using same sequence. Did u check the power supply?!! I think there also might been an option in install menu to tell the box that it's on the MMDS network I think it’s a power option cant remember . Hope this helps
