Can anyone tell me how to get around copy protection on movies recorded on a Tivo HD DVR? I would like to transfer them to my home server for backup and to free up some space on the Tivo. Thanks for any help.
I'd like to know as well. I just recently moved from Alabama to Virginia. This was never an issue when I had my crappy cable service through Knology, now that I have Cox it appears that I'm hosed for transferring anything except Fox and ABC. Love for the TiVo HD has taken a significant dive.
Hi , i don't use tivo but a quick google shows a program called tivodecode removes protection . dont know how current this is .
