    Hey all..

My piece of junk thomson drive just died in the middle of my ninja gaiden game, and i'm on chapter 10 and seriously do not want to go back and do it all again..

i'm already gonna buy a new xbox, and make sure that its a samsung this time..

regardless; can someone please tell me how the hell i can back up these games? i've got a memory card in the controller, but when i browse through the memory it and i click on my ninja gaiden savegames, the only option is delete!

    please help ASAP

    thanks

just highlight the game save to the right of the game icon, the copy to your mem card.
    OR
you could ftp over and make a whole backup to your pc

    ok then,
get to your gamesaves in M$ dash.
then find the game you want, and then look in to it and see there will be 1 or more other icons representing the game, click right across to which gamesave or option file you want, click on it, and then COPY

god damn it.. i just spoke to microsoft on the phone about it.. and he says only like 50% of the games out there will let you copy games to the memory card.. games like TRUE CRIME and such you CANNOT copy to memory card..

There has got to be a workaround for this.. how do I ftp into that machine or whatever.. i've got a working ethernet cable hooked into the back of the xbox and into my internet

Game saves are located in e:\tdata and e:\udata on the hard drive.

You might want to try this proggy, it came recommended by a friend who uses it.

    cheers!

then you won't be able to ftp to your xbox then with out any type of mod in your box and won't be able to get any data from your x-box.
