harddrive caddy

    i have been handed this old labtop.there is a slot above floppy drive for what i think is for a caddy to hold a harddrive.any info please tks

    Sorry, but I think your are SOL.

    The original manufacturer of that computer is Kapok of Taiwan, who has pretty much disappeared.

    tks for reply just hoping someone has an old one kicking about. even if i could get an adaptor to connect hard drive to motherboard i could easy make a csddy,

    There are several other computers that use the same battery. there is a remote possibility that one of those used the same motherboard/drive caddy.

    If you google "Kapok 6400AT Notebook Computer" that will give you a start.

    macduffer, check with your local computer store as they might have 1 or know where to get 1. also check ebay's electronics section.
