what format should i convert or try to convert to allow me to play them through my outdated cheapo dvd or would it be easier to purchase an up to date dvd player that supports more file types thank you
Assuming the source files are XviD/DivX, the best bet would be to burn the files, as data, to a CD or DVD and play them on a DivX compatible standalone unit. If the player is not DivX certified, then converting to DVD movie format with the likes of DVD Flick is an option.
