i thought i read somewhere that i can add more photos onto a cd-r after i had something already on it... is this possible? i thought i read where you dont close the session or burn and youll be able to add to it? i have several photos ready to put on CD-R only have like 30 mb of photos right now.. i would like to put them on a cd-r so i can view the photos in my dvd player.. the only problem is that i only have 30 mb of photos right now and dont want to waste the rest of the 600 plus mb's on the cd-r so is there a way to add more photos to a cd-r disc? thanks
Hiya diablo, Yes, it is possible, but very dependant upon the following: 1 - when you last burned that cd, did you close the disk? if yes, then you are S.O.L. 2 - when you last burned that cd, was it created with No Multisession? if yes, then you are S.O.L. 3 - if the disk IS multisession & not closed, does your DVD player support multisession Photo-CDs? if no, then you are S.O.L. To be truthful, with all the problems you could get into (losing the ones you have already burned is a real possibility), it is not worth trying.. Blank CDs are CHEAP. If you REALLY want to re-use CDs in that manner, get a couple of very good-quality CD-RWs and use them until they are full then transfer onto CD-Rs, wipe the CD-RW and start again. Just trying to guide you away from a load of hassle Hope this helps... _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Life is just more of the same:[/small]
i have an option on nero express to finalize cd, is that to close the cd. so leave it unchecked to keep it open.. which is open and not close TAO OR (DAO) disc at once?
Hiya, It needs to be a multisession as well. I don't know if Nero Express is up to the job, you may need the full version of Nero to do what you need. Have a look at the helpfile that came with your version of Nero, there should be some info in there about Multi-Session and continuing/adding to multi-session.
