I am switching to Mac from Windows. I used Photoshop Elements 6 for Windows, and made a complete backup of my photo collection, using Elements 6 for Windows. If I install Elements for Mac on our iMac, can I use this same backup to bring my collection into the Mac? Or do I need to jump through hoops and copy all the pics to a separate drive, then move them to the Mac? Adobe apparently doesn't wish to answer this simple question, despite several e-mails. Guess they only like their corporate customers!
If you install Elements 6 on the Mac you should be able to restore from the back up, although I would strongly recommend saving your money and using iPhoto to organize your Library and do the basic editing.
