We... I managed to screw myself over today. Thinking I was golden with a pirated version of the iPhone 3.0 beta i saw this after trying to update! After looking DFU mode has been disabled so I can't downgrade... Luckily I had planned to sign up for the developer program, just guess I will be doing sooner than I though. On the bright side I will be able to get my purring cat application into the app store sooner than I though with being an official developer. ~Domreis
You can use QuickPWN 3.0 Beta 5 to activate your Phone 3.0, don't worry. There are so many sites asking you to pay a quote to uuid activation, that's is not necessary if you use QuickPWN.
