Used AVI2DVD to convert film (the pianist) from .avi to .iso file including the .srt subtitle files before starting encoding then once encoded burned it to DVD with DVDdecrypter. Picture and audio were both great, but when the germans in the film are speaking german even though the film itself is in english there are no subtitles! Anyone know how i can fix this so i can follow the movie properly? Pleae help! Cheers in advance and sorry if this thread is in the wrong place!
Can you select the subs with the remote - but they just don't show up? Drag 'VTS_01_0.IFO' onto MediInfo and check that the subs are listed. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio_software/mp3_tools/mediainfo.cfm
Nice one atta! Used mediainfo like suggested and it didnt show the correct text stream, treid it on a different movie with the same prob and it worked for that. so it turned out that the file i downloaded had something wrong with it, re-downloaded it and now it all works fine!
