    I am a XP user.

I have tbs of disk space and I move things around. I am currently replacing .5 TB disks with 1 tb disks. I have discovered corruption in proble way less than 1% of the files I had copied. I am guessing only a few bits are twilleled in the file but sometimes that matters. That has me freaked out. I took for granted the copys were 100% relyable. I have stopped moving data from one disk to another. I try not to be doing too many tasks while I am moving data. I now copy then spend time to spot check what I amd doing. There used to be a verify option in DOS whe you copied or moved something. Does theis option still exist?

use the free teracopy, it can move or copy and verifys the copy location. It'll keep a log if it finds any errors.
