Desktop won't load

    I just got through installing software on my PC to transfer data to my Motorola V750 Adventure. After completing the installation and restarting the computer, nothing on my desktop loads. Does anyone know why this would happen or how I can fix it without reinstalling XP??

    Is it just the icons that aren't appearing, or the taskbar too?

    If it's just the icons:
    You probably somehow hid them by accident. Try right-clicking the desktop, and making sure that Appearance > Show Desktop Icons is checked.

    If it's the taskbar as well:
    Explorer might be crashing. Try opening Task Manager, and clicking File > Run, then typing "explorer.exe".
