I don't know if someone else has started a thread on this or not but it seems that developers and game makers alike are not listening the what the general public is asking for. I have so many ideas but with no programming exp. I wish I did because I would be a millionaire. I basically started this for people to go into detail about a game or even software for that matter they would or are making.

My idea for a racing game. Imagine taking a game like Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition with just the three or four cities it has and make it a mmoracing game. Where you and all of your friends could log into several different servers which would all be different cities with wide open streets that you could just cruise around in and setup different races that you would pull up into like in midnight club. You would select whether you want to participate or watch.

There would be money and parts won for coming in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. There would also be several different variations of vehicles such as japnese imports, muscle cars, super sports and bikes. Also you could race for pink slips in one on one challenges that if you were losing and you tired to leave you would lose you car anyway. When in cruise mode you would be able to drive right through the other cars so there were no collisions in non race enviroments. There would be notifications for when events are starting and slots were available for entry, and they would dissapear when full. Each event would have a time limit from when the first competitor entered till the race began with a minimum amount of racers present.

There would be garages scattered around each city for upgrading and getting different paint scemes and such. Also there would be weekly tournaments with up to one hundred entrys per and then the winners to face off to see who was the best overall. A ladder system would be a must along with custom garages to be used as clans that would have ther own personal color schemes and decals to show who they were rolling with. Also clan on clan races for ladder supremecy. Then a huge tournament every three months to see who the single best driver around is.

I know this was long but hopefully someone will follow in my footsteps and we will start getting devs attention, and maybe we can start getting the games we want to play. We dish out 60 bucks for a brand new game and most of them are crap. We deserve a game and exp we pay for. Please voice your opinion.

Go get a job in the video game industry if you think you can improve it or contribute to it.

Well thats just the thing I have no programming background so that would mean going to school and taking up about 5 years of my life and at my age that would be a waste. I wish you could contact people at ubisoft or pandemic or eidos. That way I could tell them my ideas but I am sure they do not have anything like this because of all the people out there with their ideas it would get pretty stupid after a while. If this topic is dumb then someone needs to delete it.

The alternative, naturally, is to stick with what you're good at, make a few million doing that, then FINANCE said gaming industry to make the awesome games for you...you can even make a profit then! :D
