    Hello all !

I have movies on my computer that work fine, I have burned them and the dvd works as well on my computer, I have Vista.

The problem is that it does not work on my tv, that is where I want to watch movies, any solutions ?

    Thanks !

can you tell us exactly how you are creating the files and then burning them to dvd (including the programs and versions you are using)

    Hi !

I downloaded the movie with bittorent, and used Divx movie and express burn.

Nothing works, I do have to tell you I am a very very newcomer into this ripping and burning exercise ! I am comming a long way !

    Thanks!

Your standalone player probably doesn't play Divx files. You need to convert them.

I use dvd flick (freeware) to convert my movie files to dvd compliant files.
