Should i Update to Windows 7

    Should i update to windows 7 ?
    i know that win7 is much faster but is it worth updatin to.
    -do the games still work like cod4, crysis,burnout etc ?
    - is the directx working ?
    and over all does it run gamer and other other apps that people would have on vista ? like vlc player,firefox,poweriso and so on

    If you have the means to do it for free, of course :p

    I have it running on one of my PC's and there's only one program it hasn't run yet (It's an old one anyway, so it probably didn't work in Vista either). Coincidentally, i've run all three of those games on Windows 7 and they work perfectly, as does every other game i've tried. DirectX 9 and 10 are also fine, Firefox 3 works perfectly, haven't tried VLC as i just don't like that program, but i can only assume it works. I haven't installed any ISO making/mounting programs on it at all, but i know that most work.

    I will tell you right now that any programs using the SPTD driver (Daemon Tools, Alcohol 52/120%) will NOT work in W7. In general I'm very pleased though.
