Upc Multi-room

    Hi anyone know about upc multi-room is it the same as sky where you have to have them connected to the phone line

    you dont need a phoneline at all

    So they don't have to be linked

    No. you just need an extra connection and pay and extra 8euro on top of what evr package you have... got to sly instead, better service with HD.. just my opinion.. regards

    So I get 2 Digital Receivers lets say 1 in sitting room 1 in the kitchen and there totally independant then

    Right so I get the Go Digital Max package 33.50 and get the second 1 for an extra 2 euro then with the same channel package

    What I was trying to find was a way to use multi-room at 2 different address's if u know what I mean

    Not sure if that can be done as those boxes have a return signal on them.. i stand to be corrected though!!!

    I see above that it may be possible for N*Hell to detect by return signal any boxes on the cable system. Is this correct? I have posted the below statement on another thread. Any help or thoughts appreciated!!

    "Have received new N*Hell card in Dublin. It states that after you replace the card and leave for 5/6 hours to update - you must then call N*Hell to confirm the update.

    Are these cards specific to the actual box, as it states the digital box numbers on the letter with the new card attached?

    Upon confirmation to them, can they detect the actual N*Hell box that has been updated?"
