box t gone in wexford

hey

my boxt is gone no stations and my friends is also gone
his sister has a sub.. with ch...s and she said she has not received any new box or card is nag3 in down here already or just a bad day as it has happened before a few months ago

 

have u the latest firmware on box as there was a roll

 

i think the latest was december 07 im not not aware of a new was only looking a few weeks back ill check it out any other time it rolled it just came back itself after an few minutes

hi guys
have a eurovox tx in kildare on ch***s just gone down can only get1 channel. What is the latest version of software for the tx?? anybody else have the same problem in kildare area?? Is there a fix for it. I know that Nag 3 is being rolled out but thought it was only affecting NTHELL at the moment, but not all the channels are off at the moment.any help would be greatly appreciated

 

if u read back there was an autoroll,and if u read the stickies on top all fixes there.

 

sorry i didnt realise it was a roll that n3 just making me paranoid i suppose ive tried to update but its not working for so i did it manually and all back woring voxhead if ur stuck pm me and ill sort u out thanks

hopefully someone will be able to help me as the person I bought my box off is useless.
Im in dublin ireland
I've just got my box in the post and i have tried putting the softward on it. However a little box keeps coming up on my monitor that says PVR loader v4.01s Jul11 2007 then there is a serial port with a drop down arrow and accross from that Baud Rate i've clicked on it and saved it but then what there is no option for me to load it on to the Box. Also the remote control doesnt seem to be working and all it says on my tv screen is The Box and no menue's come up..help would be much appreciated

 

dont know if you box is broke or not maybe it just needs to be flashed if you see when u have ur loader open there is an option for bin file you must have this and will probably get it from the same place you got the loader when u click on bin file it should automatically find ur file just click on it and then u will have the download option in your loader
try this and see how u get on

This is so frustrating. Right i've tried that and its just saying cant open serial port last error: the system cannot find the file specified.
my friend also emailed me doc's so i've tried that one too and the same things is happening.

 

right this is the next step what cable are u using is it null modem from pc to box or do u have usb adapter either way here i go
this might be slighty wrong but ill try my best
click on start button right click on my computer click on properties then click on hardware then click on device manager
then u need find something called port/ata (i might be wrong on the ata but look for the port) u will be able to see the cable u have plugged in click on it and go to advanced setting on it and in there u can change ur com port and then go back to the loader and change to the com port u selected
see how u get on with this

ok I've tried that and it didnt work but you've wrote what type of cable am I using. Is there a special cable I should have. I'm using the one from my printer it seems to fit in the back of the box and then into the usb on my lap top.

 

you got me there i think its the wrong cable but i could be wrong is usb to usb or usb to rs not sure of that side of it i have seen a lot of forums and not seen this cable mentioned it is normally the cable u get with the box and an adpter
