HI Guys , well I've heard it's better to have the newest bios out but I don't know how to get it ( Where , how ) Can I change the bios by FTP ? I have a modded xbox with an executer 2 I think ... ( Will there be any problems if it isn't really executer 2 I've got ?) Thanks
do you have evox installed? because i think that theres an option on there that allows you to change your bios via ftp.
1.Get Flash X (not xflash) 2.install it in your apps folder or make a bootable xiso of it. 3. Get you newer bios and make the size your chip needs.(usually 1 meg) 4. FTP the bios from you PC to the bios folder on your xbox c drive. 5. Run flash x and flash with the bios on the xbox c drive. If you need more info reply wiyh what chip anf bios u r using I had no luck using the flash bios function in EVOX FlashX worked much better.
yeah i read alittle bit ago that the Evox function doesn't work very well, but i was only suggesting. your way seems alot better.
Thanks! I really honked my xecuter 2.3 once and learned the hard way,but experience is the best teacher! I had to do a hot swap with another xbox that was modded with a 2.3 and used the above method.
