VLC Player 9.8a plays nearly every thing I need - except - midi files. Is there any other (Alternative Real or Media Player Classic, or ???), preferably small & light weight to play midi? I don't need an editor or any other note generating functions.

I scrapped Windows MP10 because it didn't play dvd without purchasing codecs, & other free commercial players are like yapping bloatware nags.

k-lite codec which includes media player classic should have had the codecs to play DVDs with MP10. Try Playmidi, google search and it's free.
