Hi I am trying to burn OSX 10.5 on a double layer disk. I Currently have the dmg file on my pc. I've tried power iso, dmg2img and neither of them seem to work. they both burn the disk but when i put it in my mac it just spits the disc back out after trying to load. can anyone recommend an alternate program or at least point me to a guide that is not from 8 plus years ago.

if you have a current mac just install old version of mac(like from restore disks) and use that to burn the dmg file to a disc (i am not aware of any apps that can correctly burn a dmg in windows so that would probly be your best bet

also you could try to find an iso version of the leopard disc or the easyest way go to store and pick up a legitamate copy

    hope that helps

have you tried the other suggestions here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.dmg

I can burn them and have them bootable... by mounting the image and using cdrecord (been a long time tho.. and only ever 650mb cd images) to copy the contents direct from the mountpoint to the disk.
