I have a Sony Vaio PCV-RS520 and it comes standard with 8 USB 2.0 ports. I bought a Western Digital My Book Essential Edition 1 TB around november 2008 and it worked great including transfer speed. i recently reboot my PC to manufacture status and upgrade back to Microsoft SP3 and now my External HDD transfer rate it slow from all 8 ports. When i connect the USB im now getting a message that "This USB device can perform faster if you connect it to a High Speed USB 2.0 Port". Do anyone have a proper fix?

If i update my driver (advance) and uncheck (show compatible hardware) i find allot of ENHANCE USB 2 for intel and microsoft. When i install anyone of them i do get the exclamation marks.

this one should be compatible (Intel(R) 82801EB USB2 Enhanced Host Controller - 24DD)from all the researched i have done but it's not.
