Hi all recently my windows media player started to minimise whilst I was watching a film in full screen mode, it was really frustating having to constantly hit the full screen icon. Also I noticed all my films that I watch now has this connect media logo fixed to the top right of my screen?, but now for whatever reason I can no longer get my windows media player to work at all. When I click on the windows media shortcut icon, nothing happens. I have tried to re-install it, but it says the version I'm trying to install is older than the version installed on my pc. Can anyone helpme gemy windows media player working again normally. Thanks in advance. Bobwheel.
Uninstall all the windows updates released since it worked correctly, then reinstall media player. Then dissable automatic updating to prevent Microsoft from auto-installing bad updates on your system.
