i have windows xp and a very annoying problem,up till 1 week ago my windows media player was working fine and any movies or music downloaded went straight into the player then suddenly everything just dissapeared out of it,i was downloading a film and when it wwas going to the media player i think it knocked everything off it,now all my files are somewhere on my computer.when i try to add files in the wmp nothing happens,can someone please help as i would love to have all my files restored to my player,thank you.
It is probably an update issue, good ol Microsoft up their tricks again. I would recommend either removing any update that was WMP related that you received recently or certainly upgrading to the latest WMP version. Either one of those could work.
