I recently let a friend use my old hp pavillian and something happened and they reloaded windows with a disc. They didn't touch the partition on the harddrive where the original windows xp is. I gave them the disc for the windows load but now it's plain jane windows xp. The link that was in all programs (hp recovery:recovery) is gone. I'm wanting to reload the original windows back on. The pc never came with any disc, everything is on the partition. Can anyone help. Don't knnow if I covered everything but will answer any Questions to get it back to normal. Thanks

I don't know why anyone would actualy want that bloatware, but you can probably get it from the HP website. While your at it, download a few viruses and some spyware to make sure the system goes as slow as when HP sold it.

You are not useful, you should probably hang yourself, and the hp is faster than the brand new dell I bought. I'm looking for help not retarded comments.

If you press f11 as the computer boots this should activate the recovery partition. Hope this helps.

The f11, f2, ctrl f11, none of these work, they all bring up bios menu. Thanks though
