hey, I have 2 hard drives named "c:" and "e:" I have shortcuts to them on my desktop but when i click on the shortcuts (that worked yesterday) or the shortcuts in "My Computer" I get a popup:
    ---------------------------
    RECYCLER\S-0-2-65-100020948-100001717-100028214-5176.com
    ---------------------------
Windows cannot find 'RECYCLER\S-0-2-65-100020948-100001717-100028214-5176.com'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

But if i go to "run..." and open "C://" or "E://" it opens fine
I just ran Spybot S&D and am now running norten 2009
    anyone know whats going on?

just an update, I used "run..." to open "C://Recycler/" and it opened a folder with "ADAPT_Installer"
I have hidden files turned on but the folder "RECYCLER" doesn't show up in "c://"

and by the way, I'm running windows XP

    k it's fixed
just so anyone knows how to fix it if you have this problem:
open C://RECYCLER/ and delete the visible files in there
it's where your recycling bin keeps files you've deleted so try not to delete anything important
