games freezing with new ixtreme 1.5.1 Final on my Benq drive

Hey guys.... was wondering if anyone could give me some help on what might be causing this or what to do next. I just over the past week modded my benq drive with 1.5.1 Final and everything "seemed" to be working good, although I didn't really put in any real play time, but I was able to play through one chapter of RE5. I then tried to get online and had to update my console, now ever since my games freeze (if I'm lucky) or I get 3 red flashing lights after a few minutes of nothing happening. I've already repaired the RROD before and did so again thinking that might have been the problem but I don't think so. I'm thinking something in the update told my console to check for that firmware and if found to not operate properly so I was going to try and reflash with the original firmware to see what happens. Any insight???
