Which Is Better? Firmware 2.2.1 or 3.0 ??

    I will be getting a jailbroken an unlocked 2G iphone with 2.2.1 firmware soon. I read somewhere that firmware 3.0 is very slow. That said, I got some questions:

    - Is it worth installing?

    - Is it better than 2.2.1?

    - Can I install the jailbroken 3.0 beta on my 2G?

    - Will installing the jailbroken 3.0 render the unlocked feature on my phone useless?

    Last i heard about the firmware 3.0 was that if you installed in on your phone, you need to have a developers code to get it to work.

    I would stick with firmware 2.2.1 as 3.0 is still in beta and will have bugs in it etc

    IMO stay with 2.2.1. I think you lose your ability to unlock with 3.0 but I am not sure of that.
