vista to xp

    sorry if this is in the wrong section

    i have a toshiba xp downgrade disk that came with my gf's vista business laptop i'm trying too find out if i can use that same disk to do other toshiba laptop

    is there much difference between the 2 as in chipset, cpu(intel/amd), videocard, lan & sound?

    Tosh usually have a very stock intel chipset.. nothing special at all.

    wouldn't know.. I just wipe the things and install from a clean start.

    ok cool i done a dell laptop that way last night and it worked great i just wasn't sure if toshiba laptop would be the same

    Should be.. make a list of the hardware and chipset before you start.. the wifi drivers can be awkward XD
