Can someone plz help me

Hello. There might be a thread on this somewhere because this is my first time here but I need someone's help. I just installed nero 9 on my computer but nero vision isnt included, which it was in my trial version. I always burn and encoding my avi files using the create,author and edit option under the create and edit option. Its the only way I could get my burnt dvds to play on my dvd player. Does anyone know why the nero vision option might be missing? I have updated my version but still no go. Do I even need nero vision to encoding my avi movie files and play them on my dvd player... Again im sorry if this is already a thread but I would love if someone can give me some insight. Thank you very much
