bad or no signal

can anyone help please i have a eurovox 1000sl but a lot of my channels are broken up then say this

 

where are you Uk or Ireland ??

 

im in scotland and my cc is virgin

 

Have you checked all your connections are in securely, this is usually a connection problem, most usually the RF (cable) in to the box.

 

hi yes i had to cut my cable could it be that i have not striped the cable right ?

 

Yes, very likely to be the cause.
