   Hey, I am trying to install a Western Digital portable hard drive (WD Elements 400 GB) to my desktop, but the hard drive comes with no driver. Western digitals website says they do not provide drivers because windows should have them all. But windows is not finding it...anyone know where I can download WD drivers? Been searching all day...

   there is no driver needed if using xp & above as windows uses it's own driver. does it show up in device manager & disk management?
