I've used AVidemux on a few different projects for a few different things, but now I want to use it to edit an AVI file. My question is though, I'm never sure what format to save it in, in the Video Copy drop-down menu.

When I did a project before I was told to use MPEG-4 ASP (Xvid4) What is the difference between all of those options in the drop-down menu?

It depends what kind of output you want.. I suggest reading the avidemux wiki and making your mind up...

If you just want to edit then set both to copy.
