Thanks for the help, I downloaded AKAIO_v1.4.1Proper and unzipped it, then loaded the folder onto the sd card.

    Is this right?

or should I open the folder and load components onto sd card.

anyway then I loaded 2 roms just to see if it works and it says

    "system file is missing"

    Any ideas????

    Thanks everyone

looks like your DSi is not seeing the AK2i in the slot. try the paper card trick, put a piece of thin paper on the back on the AK2i, this will push the connect pins closer in. i use masking tapes, that works too.
oh, 1 other thing, try out the AK2i on a DS/DSL if you can to see if its not faulty.

I got the Acekard2i, and it's working great for me! I recommend using the AKAIO Firmware over the official firmware. Reason is, I have an 8GB micoSDHC, and it would take a lot of time just to load the card; that was with the official firmware. With AKAIO, it was instant. Great support!
