Having a problem with an ipod 30 gb video. It was working fine then plugged a cigarette adapter to charge it while it was plugged in the aux of our car stereo it said go to apple support and now it looks as if the battery is low and it will not charge. It will not access menu. Not sure if there is a hard reset on these or if it could be fixed. Any help is appretiated.
Something similiar happened to my mate's ipod classic. His problem was solved when he reset it. To reset it, hold menu and the middle button simultaneously for about 5 seconds. the apple logo should appear, then everything should be fine.
