Starview the box PVR won't record

    Hoping someone can help? My PVR box won't record! I have tried the two most recent .bin file flashes (v3105-081208 and 211208 or 241208.) The HDD was in the PVR box when I bought it. When I first tried to load the .bin file via the USB my PC didn't even recognise the box. I found a cure for this....the jumper link on the HDD was set to 'slave/spare' I changed it to 'Master' and the PC then recognised the box. The Box did record when I bought it but after flashing, it will not record. Is it anything to do with the HDD jumper or are these two .bin files dodgy? I would really like to get the box up and recording again. Any ideas? Thanks

    Dont know much about these boxes but there is a guy on here that can help you out. edited by ddp

    Thanks for trying dub12dave. Seems your reply wasn't allowed. I have heard nothing else and my pvr is still next to useless. Thanks again

    take out the HDD and restart the unit then after that turn unit off and reinsert the unit again then switch on making sure you are using either the loop cable or 2 connection on the unit also make sure all the connections are tight and also your hdd is formatted
