Does True Image REALLY clone every file on a HDD? My laptop currently has 100gb HDD installed which is really small for me. I plan to install a 200+gb one the problem is that there is a recovery image partition on the HDD. Will TrueImage be able to clone that as well? And the partition too?

I use true image before and it works good for doing indidvidual partition imaging. It does copy every file on each partition.

For doing a whole hard drive clone, you might want to check their forums, I think the "dell" computers with there recovery partition can give you problems, but nothing that can't be overcome.

Also since your cloning a laptop, you might want to do what is called a "reverse clone". Where you install the new drive in the laptop and old drive outside of the laptop, this will prevent "chs geometry" problems.

Below is the true image forums. There are many posts there with cloning laptops questions.
