Hello, I'm in need of a solution right now. I was with my girlfriend when suddenly her phone cut off and when it cut back on, it said FTM Mode. Now I've seen this before and as you know, it erases all contacts and pictures and stuff and you can't dial out or send text messages. Now my question.. I've heard the only solution to fix this is to go into the phone settings and turn standalone mode on and then back off. But is there any other solution that we can use to fix this in case that doesn't work? I can't try anything right now because she is not home yet, but I'd like a back-up plan in case the standalone mode thing doesn't work.. Note: It is an lg vx9900 (a.k.a. the envy) We would like to put turning to verizon at the bottom of our list because I really don't feel like dealing with them right now.. Any solutions/information is greatly appreciated =)
This is a typical problem with this handset form LG as I came to know from some of my friends. You should contact some local LG dealer. :-(
