Hi, I've been trying to copy my Lost DVD's for a friend's use, and I've run into a bit of trouble. I've been using 123CopyDVDGold, and that successfully copied all the discs from Seasons 1 to 3, but now that I'm on Season 4, things aren't working. I've tried several programs, including the aforementioned one, Plato DVD Copy, and now DVD Shrink (on DVD shrink I put the disc in and it says there was an error with the parameters). I've been looking around for ideas and apparently DVD Decrypter should be used prior to trying to copy it.

So, now that I'm on DVD Decrypter, I think it's having a difficult time reading the disc due to scratches (from a different friend who I made the mistake of lending my DVD's to, and received back a bunch of scratched ones).

I have it giving up on DVD errors after 0 retries (when I did 20, it went up to over 200 retries and I realized it was taking too long...so I am just having it give up to speed things up). It still isn't helping apparently. Right now, of the 1 million KB on the disc, it's only gotten 4,000 KB with 61 read errors. So I guess this isn't going to work? It plays fine in the DVD player, but I guess not on here. Anything I can do to fix it? Please try and explain it the best you can because I really am not technologically proficient in any sense of the word.

Okay, sorry, it sped up literally 30 seconds after I posted this and is now 700,000 KB through. :p

That being said, once it's done decrypting, how would I get it to work on DVD Shrink?

And now the errors are going up exponentially, like VERY fast. 4000 errors in 2 minutes.

I just did. No luck. It gives me an error message. I clicked ignore all and it just started over and over 50 times until I xed it out.

I guess it's just not in good enough condition. None of the DVD copying programs I have can read it...at least I think that's the problem.

For more info on that...it starts up and says:

Error while reading! Please choose from what to do?
    Retry Abort Ignore Ignore All
