No, The Eurovox works on the same type of aystem as the starview, (nagravision 2 i think)The Channels that are now missing have been switched to nagra 3 judging by all the discussions, these boxes have no new software or fixes to rectify this problem and it doesn`t look likely that there will be one soon if at all
    Hope this helps

I thought both ntl and chours is the one company?
I am recieving the signal from an arieal i had put on the roof, is this ntl? if so then whats chours? is it the cable thats connected outside going from house to house where it is possible to tap in yourself just buy sticking a cable in to it.

They are the same company, just two different divisions,By your explanation of the aerial it seems you are working from an "mms" as opposed to a cable feed feed ( aerial is picking up the signal from a broadcasting tower in your area)Ch***s is more prevalent in the more rural parts of Ireland as compared to Bigger Cities and towns which have N*hell,i dont know what the cable running from house to house is but maybe only to feed this signal around.
    Hopefully this helps
