mame and board 2

    hi peeps i hope ive posted in the correct forum, ive recently obtained sonic the arcade and im trying to play it through mame but the emulator isnt seeing the game, can any one help with a guide or somthing on how i can get this classic to work. Im also having the same trouble with sonic fighters on the board 2 emulator but with this one it keeps saying files not found i would really appreciate all help given. Many thanks Azeluk

    Mame (and it's clones) have extensive support forums. You may have better luck there.

    The biggest thing about Mame is that you have to make sure that it's up to date and capable of running the ROM. Mame is patched constantly to keep up with incompatibilities in ROMs.

    here we go.. the files not found error is just that.. try a rom sourced from somewhere else in the first instance then have a look in the emu config files.

    mame is a work in progress.. and always will be. How do you mean "not seeing" the game.. is it in the menus.. or cxan you launch it using the open with.. it could just have a duff filename.. emulators are a bit strange in that respect sometimes.
