Hello,does anyone know how to format windows xp,do i need to use a disc or can i do this just through the pc?any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks.
You can do it with the windows installer. As soon as the installer comes up, select the drive you want formatted (Remember, all data is lost), press D to delete the partition, confirm it, and it's gone. Then press enter to install windows to that drive, and use 'Format with NTFS File System (Quick)'
