BBC scotland on a dreambox in Northern Ireland

    Hi im new to this but here goes

    Ive just got a dreambox 500c and im trying to get bbc scotland on it I'm in northern ireland and everytime i scan for it it comes up but when you watch it, it is bbc northern ireland how can i solve this.

    You cant as its a regional issue, i.e. you are in Northern Ireland and so will only receive BBC for that region.

    my friend has one and he gets it ok im linked into the n*T cable feed and they have it on there boxes aswell.

    In the UK mainland you get a choice of all regions and your one is picked up by the Net ID. However in Ulster I presumed the default region was established, if this is not the case why not take the frequency from one of the boxes with BBC Scotland on it and do a manual scan using it?
