Just wondering can any1 help, i got a usb connection to a null modem cable, although my computer recognises that usb 2.0 is connected to it, i can't seem to be able to down load the software of the disc I got with it. I don't know if it makes a differance if I have windows vista and not xp.

    1. Are you talking about a USB to Serial adapter?

    2. Yes it makes a difference. If there isn't a driver specifically written for Vista, the XP driver may not work.

Modem drivers are simple to mod to work with vista, but if you have to ask the question, it is probably to hard for you.
